In particular, recipients of this qualification will be able to:
- Plan and prepare for Early Childhood Development.
- Facilitate and monitor the development of babies, toddlers and young children.
- Provide care and support to babies, toddlers and young children.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
What do I need to have completed before I can apply to study this course?
THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION INTO THIS COURSE:
- Grade 12, or Level 4 National Certificate (NQF), or an NC(V) Level 4.
- Enrolment in January and July
COURSE DURATION
How long will it take to complete the qualification?
- 6 months for each of the certificates on a full-time basis (N4, N5 and N6). The course will be run on a distance and full-time basis (4 days theoretical classes and 1 day work-based experience.)
- To obtain a National N-Diploma in Management Assistant requires a minimum of 18 months’ theoretical study plus 18 months’ of work-based experience
