The Bakersfield Occupational  Certificate in Early Childhood Development is accredited Quality Council for Trade & Occupation (QCTO),06-QCTO/SDP20032194529 and is registered by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) as a 131-credit qualification on Level 4 (SAQA ID No: 97542). On successful completion, you will receive a Occupational Certificate in Early Childhood Development from Bakersfield FET College, a leading registered private provider of higher education in South Africa.

International students will be considered for this qualification ONLY if they completed Grade 12 in South Africa. These students will automatically be referred to the Faculty of Education on campus for consideration

  • Free software is available to all registered IIE Rosebank College students. The software includes and is not limited to MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook, which come with Office 365 bundle. Students can access the software from their portal
  • The fees for all Online IIE qualifications include prescribed textbooks supplied in e-book format. Where an e-book is not available, the prescribed textbook will be provided in an alternate format.
